Job purpose

Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of all gaming departments. Direct and coordinate activities and initiatives that will obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations while maximizing profits.

Duties and responsibilities

Monitor and Oversee Financial Management of the Department

  • Strategic/Business Plan development, updating and monitoring;
  • Ensures development of annual budget and cost management, within the context of Casino Operations.

Manage the Staff

  • Ensures appropriate staffing consistent with needs and within the constraints of the organization’s physical and financial resources;
  • Recruits, selects, orients and develops staff to meet standard performance;
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates the Casino Table Gaming Operation’s work plan; assign projects and programmatic responsibilities; review and evaluate work methods and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.

Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services

  • Oversees the full scope of Casino Table Gaming Operations in the area of gaming table operations in all casino halls;
  • Responsible for achieving optimal customer satisfaction by providing quality customer services and facilities and delivering a uniquely memorable experience to casino guests;
  • Reviews gaming records/data to monitor the gaming performance and provides recommendation to improve the Casino Table Gaming Operations and overall profitability;
  • Develops, modifies, and maintains the Casino Table Gaming Operations’ Policy & Procedure Manual;
  • Ensures table game play operates with integrity and efficiency, with a focus on development of staff, and player rating;
  • Ensures all table games are in regulatory compliance with the state gaming authority, internal controls, operating procedures;
  • Responsible for all gaming functions pertaining to gaming on a twenty-four (24) hours;
  • Works in direct cooperation with the Surveillance and Internal Audit Departments to ensure asset protection and the continued profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required;
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in casino gaming management preferably in a senior managerial position;
  • Must have in depth knowledge of all casino operations;
  • Ability to set and meet high standards of service to develop a work force that embraces a culture of quality and service;
  • Strong motivator, lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
