Job purpose

The Airport Support-Supervisor is responsible for receiving guests that the airport, escorting them through immigration and transferring them from the airport to the hotel and vice versa.

Welcome guest at VIP Airport Terminal providing Hassle Free Service.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relavant industry standards during all aspects of work;
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times.

General Job Functions

  • Under the supervision of the VIP Executive to welcomes guests upon arrival and departure at the airport upon arrival;
  • Pick up VIP guest/s at VIP airport terminal (provide Hassle Free Service).
  • Oversee VIP airport office and manpower allotment; (maintain cleanliness and adjust manpower allotment on heavy arrivals and departures)
  • Supervise VIP Airport daily operation
  • Monitor and update VIP hotel support supervisor on airline flight status (any changes will have to coordinate immediately to VIP hotel support team to inform respective guest/s and JV incentive group)
  • Liaise with airline representative (regarding guest/s concerns)
  • Coordinate with immigration officer, Visa officer and airport police for proper processing of guest/s service upon arrival and departure.
  • Ensure all guest/s passport are handled properly and securely.
  • Handle guest concerns at the airport (report immediately to superior)
  • Ensure all guest/s passport are safely transported from airport to VIP office in NagaWorld (All
  • Informs airport immigration police the number of persons prior to their arrival;
  • Meets guests before the immigration check point; (Use signage to ensure guest/s are welcome)
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of immigration process;
  • Collects from the junkets operators or from the guests, upon their arrival at the checkpoint, flight tickets and passports for visa application;
  • Ensure arriving guest/s are given proper information (Why their passport are taken and where and when can the guest take back their passport/s) prior to taking their passport and air tickets. All guest/s passport that were provided with Hassle Free Service can claim their passport back at the VIP hotel counter.
  • Confirms and tallies the actual number of persons arriving with the passports collected;
  • Guides guests to immigration check point; (Provide Hassle Free Service to guest);
  • Ensure all arriving and departing guest are properly screened and not in the NagaWorld banned list. Report immediately to superior (guest under banned list)
  • Submits custom declaration forms to custom police during the clearance. (If guests didn’t fill inform, does so just in case the custom police need it.);
  • Ensures that transportation is waiting for the guests at the exits;
  • If for some reasons a hired car/van fails to arrive, quickly to apologizes to the guests and arrange for an alternate transport such as taxi. Does not ask guests to pay for taxi but to pay for it himself and claims reimbursement after;
  • Reconfirms WITHOUT DELAY all air tickets according to preferred date of departure;
  • Ensures that the guests have their correct passports so that they leave on time as they wish;
  • Avoids at all cost to cause the guests to miss their flight;
  • Checks that all vans are standing by for the guests leaving for the airport;
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Adheres to “No Cash” Policy at airport unless given aprroval from superior. (Airport Supervisor are not allowed to collect money from arriving guest/s for visa processing and hassle free charges unless instructed to do so)
  • Guide and assist subordinates when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education required;
  • possess reasonable ability to communicate in English and Mandarin is plus;
  • At least 3 years work experiences related to the job;
  • Sound knowledge in immigration process;
  • Oral and written communication skills;
  • Detail oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Must have strong leadership, organizational, communication, human relations, and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Patient and willing to work overtime when required.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
