Job purpose

The main responsibility of a teacher is to help students understand, speak, write and read Chinese Mandarin. Your duties will range from the preparation of lessons, delivery of training program and assessment.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Organizing and delivering classroom lectures to students;
  • Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments and handouts;
  • Recording and maintaining accurate student attendance records and grades;
  • Evaluating students’ class work and assignments;
  • Identify students at risk of underachievement and ensuring appropriate interventions are in place;
  • Maintaining discipline in the classroom;
  • Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education or equivalent;
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience;
  • Possess a HSK 3 & above preferred;
  • Reliable, flexible and punctual;
  • A team-player with good planning and organizational skills.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Any person(s) nominated by management.
