Job purpose

The Senior Trainer is a hospitality loving individual with a go get attitude, excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. The Senior Trainer will report to the Training & Development Manager. Their main role will be to conduct onsite trainings based on NagaWorld Merit-based Reward System to our associates. He/she will follow the prescribed curriculum/calendar of activities that are designed to develop the soft skills of our associates.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work;
  • Ensures all employees adhere to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times.

General Job Functions

  • Facilitates day-to-day classes to assist associates in gaining knowledge based on NagaWorld Merit-based Reward System;
  • Conducts classes in an atmosphere that promotes caring and respect in accordance with the Mission and Vision of NagaWorld;
  • Plans, organizes, conducts and administers the prescribed training courses to associates;
  • Prepares periodic training reports to Training and Development Manager;
  • Demonstrates understanding of Employability skills, teaching materials, and procedures with understanding of various teaching methods;
  • Maintains close communication with NagaWorld’s associates, other departments and Training & Development manager;
  • Facilitates soft-skill evaluation, skills training, promotion readiness training and other activities related to employment transition;
  • Ensures the delivery of services which are reflective of NagaWorld Merit-based Reward System;
  • Performs assigned administrative work and attends meetings as required;
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the superior.


  • Possesses BA degree or higher in Education or Hospitality, but at least successfully completed an industry related vocational training program;
  • Good communicator – mature, patient, responsible and positive attitude;
  • English is required and other language is a plus;
  • Planning, reporting and organizational skills;
  • Ability to lead, inspire and motivate others;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in training and development.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
