IT ASSISTANT MANAGER, TECHNICAL SERVICE (Network)
Job purpose
Supports network operation and monitors its performance, resolving issues occurred, managing/maintaining server/network hardware and operation systems and address weak area for improvement.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations
- Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
- Ensures all employees adhere to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times
General Job Functions
- Assesses hardware for LAN or WAN and make necessary recommendations for purchase
- Assesses hardware and software requirement for appropriate purchases
- Maintains an updated knowledge of Network IT security policies
- Manages the LAN and WAN environment
- Proper documentation of the network for troubleshooting and proposals for purchases
- Proper use of secure channel or encryption for data or voice communications
- Proper use of policies to minimize the risk of virus or malware in the network
- Maintains an inventory for all network hardware devices
- Maintains a Network Management System
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education required
- CCNA or CCNP certification is desirable
- Knowledge of networking protocols is required
- Knowledge of LAN and WAN products and protocols is essential
- Ability to interact with LANs and WAN vendors
- Ability to respond and successfully interact with coworkers and other departments
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in technical and management experience in network
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, and Outlook
- English Language proficiency
Working Conditions
This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Any person(s) nominated by management.
