Job purpose

The VIP Butler Coordinator provides tailored service and assistance to VVIP and VIP guests. This role is accountable for managing the VIP Butler Service department to ensure that service standards are implemented across all subordinates and aligned with all relevant divisions in the delivery and execution of service excellence to both internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures all employees adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times

General Job Functions

  • Welcomes and greets guests, including VVIP and VIP, assists with check-in, unpacking, packing, and wardrobe care, including minor repairs and laundry arrangements
  • Handles guest concerns courteously and professionally, provides personalized and unbiased service, and responds promptly to guest needs
  • Coordinates with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely cleaning, turndown, and room readiness according to guest preferences
  • Serves meals, snacks, beverages, and ensures proper inventory and knowledge of spirits and specialty foods in stock
  • Maintains penthouse suites and ensuites in good condition, reporting issues and liaising with maintenance and housekeeping
  • Implements health and safety hygiene standards, manages stock of masks and sanitizers, and ensures a clean, professional appearance at all times
  • Conducts random service checks, supports team activities, attends training, and performs assigned duties with discretion and professionalism
  • Liaises with internal and external departments to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated guest experience
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent education required
  • Demonstrates working knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of food & beverage and personal services
  • Completes Food and Beverage Server training and basic Wine Knowledge training
  • Completes Professional Butler or Household Management training
  • Has previous experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Possesses a minimum of 1 year of butler service experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or casino
  • English & Mandarin language proficiency

Working Conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
