HOTEL SALES EXECUTIVE
Job purpose
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Manager – Hotel Sales, in coordination with the Director of Business Development, Hotel Sales, and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, the Executive is responsible for driving revenue, generating leads, and securing new corporate accounts across NagaWorld. This role requires the executive to build and execute targeted account strategies to maximize occupancy and upselling opportunities, while overseeing and implementing all sales activities within their specific area of responsibility.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations
- Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld’s standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
- Ensures all employees adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules, and Regulations at all times
General Job Functions
- Primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, generating leads, promoting NagaWorld products, services, and facilities to all potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth
- Manages a designated portfolio of corporate accounts and actively pursues new sales prospects within assigned segments or industries
- Develops and executes strategic account plans with clear objectives, timelines, and sales methodologies to drive the defined account strategy
- Maintains up-to-date market intelligence to proactively address competitor-based objections and strengthen our value proposition
- Manages existing client portfolios to drive strategic account growth, maximizing revenue through targeted upselling, cross-selling initiatives and tailored contract negotiations
- Develops and executes strategic weekly sales call plans to drive consistent growth within the business pipeline
- Maintains accurate, up-to-date customer records in the sales masterlist and effectively manages the comprehensive leads-tracking system
- Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent education required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, adaptability, and effective problem-solving skills
- Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with guests, clients, and managers
- Demonstrates good understanding of hotel operations and how different departments contribute to the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook
- English Language proficiency
Working conditions
This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
