Job purpose

The Airport Support-Coordinator is responsible for receiving guests that the airport, escorting them through immigration and transferring them from the airport to the hotel and vice versa.

Control the database system at the airport (Scan guest passport and email to respective departments in NagaWorld)

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relavant industry standards during all aspects of work;
  • Ensures adherence to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times.

General Job Functions

  • Under the supervision of the Airport Support-Supervisor to welcomes guests upon arrival at the airport upon arrival; (Always welcome guest with a SMILE)
  • Verify all passport/s received in the morning with the departure manifest that should correspond to the departure flight date and time, report immediately for any discrepancies.
  • Upon arrival at the airport, check and verify all airline flight status for any changes on the flight departure and arrival time, notify Hotel support supervisor for any changes.
  • Checks that the transport is ready and parked in front of the arrival hall, awaiting our guests;
  • Checks daily flight schedule, any changes to report to superior;
  • Arrives inside the immigration area at least half an hour before arrival of flight;
  • Informs airport immigration police the number of persons prior to their arrival;
  • Meets guests before the immigration check point and uses paging board with guest or Junket group name;
  • Use airport signage (guest name or Incentive group name with flight details) to pick up guest.
  • Ensure arriving guest/s are given proper information (Why their passport are taken and where and when can the guest take back their passport/s) prior to taking their passport and air tickets. All guest/s passport that were provided with Hassle Free Service can claim their passport back at the VIP hotel counter.
  • Collects from the junkets operators or from the guests, upon their arrival at the checkpoint, flight tickets and passports for visa application; (Verify the arrival stamp and guest passport/s)
  • Coordinates the number of persons arriving with the passports collected;
  • Guides guests to immigration check point by provide Hassle Free Service to guest;
  • Assists that all guests have claimed their luggage;
  • Ensure all arriving and departing guest are properly screened and not in the NagaWorld banned list. Report immediately to superior (guest under banned list)
  • Submits custom declaration forms to custom police during the clearance. (If guests didn’t fill inform, does so just in case the custom police need it.);
  • Assists those guests go through the custom police (No hassle free service for custom area, guest need to collect own luggage for security reason);
  • Ensures that transportation is waiting for the guests at the Arrival terminal.
  • Ensures that guest has their correct passports and air tickets (boarding pass) before departure;
  • Awaits guest at Departure area 30minutes prior to guest arrive at Departure terminal; (Coordinate with Transport group as to the latest location of guest)
  • Coordinate with transport service to be ready at arrival terminal prior to guest alighting from arrival exit area.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time;
  • Adheres to “No Cash” Policy at airport unless given aprroval from superior. (Airport Coordinator are not allowed to collect money from arriving guest/s for visa processing unless instructed to do so)
  • Control and secure guest/s passport upon receiving and safely transfer to VIP hotel support for proper check in procedures with respective departments.
  • Scan guest/s passport in VIP Airport database system and email details to respective departments at NagaWorld.
  • Update guest/s arrival details to VIP Hotel support team via sms and email.
  • Assist guest/s to fill up immigration departure card prior to departure. (If guest/s are unable to fill up by themselves).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education required;
  • Able to communicate in English and Chinese;
  • At least 1 year working experiences related to the job;
  • Computer literate: strong proficiency in Ms Office(Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to deal with people of all types and levels;
  • Outgoing, tactful, cheerful, courteous, diplomatic and responsible;
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance;
  • Sound knowledge in immigration process;
  • Patient and willing to work overtime when required.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
