Job purpose

Supports casino application and monitors its performance, resolve application issues, managing/maintaining Bally systems and address weak area for improvement.

Duties and responsibilities

Monitor and Oversee Financial Management of the Department

  • Assists with strategic/Business Plan development, updating and monitoring;
  • Ensures development of annual budget and cost management, within the context of IT.

Manage the Staff

  • Ensures appropriate staffing consistent with needs and within the constraints of the organization’s physical and financial resources;
  • Recruits, selects, orients and develops staff to meet standard performance;
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates IT’s work plan; assigns projects and programmatic responsibilities; reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.

Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services

  • Manages and develops the team to ensure enough people backup to support casino applications;
  • Attends user calls and ensures IT service level agreement is met;
  • Reviews and recommends application solution as and when required;
  • Manages application related user access rights, change request and incident;
  • Maintains technical support document of applications;
  • Reviews Disaster Recovery Plan and execute test;
  • Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes;
  • Liaises with vendor for further troubleshooting, patch deployment and enhancement;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education required;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT application support. Knowledge in hotel gaming application support is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Bally or any casino systems is an advantage.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
