Job purpose

The Risk Management Manager supports the implementation and management of the Company’s risk management program, including operational risk, insurance, loss prevention, and business continuity.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensure Compliance to Rules and Regulations

  • Ensures compliance with all NagaWorld standards or relevant industry standards during all aspects of work
  • Ensures all employees adhere to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times

General Job Functions

  • Oversees insurance matters, including policy renewals, claims management, documentation, and coordination with insurance brokers, insurers, business units, and the Legal Department on insurance-related contracts and negotiations
  • Identifies risk exposures, recommends appropriate solutions, and coordinates the implementation of approved insurance programs and risk mitigation measures
  • Promotes loss prevention, oversees loss control activities, and ensures follow-up on recommendations to minimize operational risks
  • Reviews, updates, and maintains the Company’s risk management policies, procedures, practices, and manuals
  • Collaborates with business units and departments to identify, assess, and review operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures
  • Prepares operational risk reports, identifies control gaps, and monitors remediation plans with relevant departments and process owners
  • Coordinates business continuity planning, including business impact analyses, with relevant business units and departments
  • Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent education required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, insurance, internal control, or related fields. Relevant professional qualifications or certifications are an advantage
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate at all organizational levels, align diverse interests, inspire others, and drive effective Risk Management Policy Program (RMPP) implementation with integrity and professional ethics
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, with a systematic approach to ensuring accuracy and quality of work, resolving issues constructively, and working independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and drive change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PPT, Word and Outlook
  • English Language proficiency

Working Conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
