Job purpose

Under the general supervision of Duty Manager / Guest Service Manager, Receptionist is responsible for guest registration, guest check-out, cashiering and also responsible for facilitating or providing assistance of guest’ s queries.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To adhere to NagaWorld’s Code of Conduct, Internal Rules and Regulations at all times;
  • To undertake front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the needs of guests;
  • To ensure highest level of customer service and create guest’s engagement for life;
  • Promotes and push for positive guest’s comments in global guest’s feedbacks channels;
  • To build good rapport with internal guests (inter-department) and external guests and resolve any complains/issues quickly to maintain high quality of customer service;
  • To deal/liaise with other departments professionally and to maintain a good working relationship with all departments;
  • To be responsible for accurate and efficient accounts and guests billing processes;
  • To be responsible in keeping all areas clean and tidy at all times and to ensure all equipment functionality at all times, including report any irregularity of system issue to IT department;
  • To perform check-in and check-out efficiently, ensuring guests’ satisfaction;
  • Acknowledges and welcomes guests as soon as guest approaches Front desk;
  • To ensure all interactions with guests are handled professionally and with care adhering to hotel policies and procedures;
  • Familiar with Front Desk / Cashiering back up procedures in the event that the system is down;
  • To maintain confidential information related to the guest and associates in the hotel;
  • To maintain knowledgeable and stay updated to Company’s product knowledge and special promotions;
  • Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notifies superior of potential dangers;
  • Keep superiors fully aware of any positive or negative feedback from the guest or associates;
  • To take pride and joy in ensuring personal hygiene and grooming standards are in accordance to the Company’s standard;
  • To perform additional/other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply;
  • Positive attitude and have a professional demeanor;
  • Passionate in dealing with people;
  • Any hotel/hospitality experience is an added value;
  • Opera experience will be an advantage;
  • English Language proficiency and Mandarin Language proficiency is a plus.

Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
